Coaching That Helps You Remember Who You Are
Dr. Corey Martin is a physician, certified grief counselor, Certified Dare to Lead facilitator, Center for Courage and Renewal facilitator, and a coach currently completing training toward ICF certification—the gold standard in the field. With a background in medicine and leadership development, Corey has spent his career helping people move from mere survival to truly thriving. He has coached physicians, healthcare administrators, organizational leaders, and everyday individuals navigating burnout, grief, life transitions, and even the emotional toll of medical malpractice suits or poor patient outcomes. His coaching style is grounded, confidential, and deeply human. Known for asking open, honest questions and listening with compassion and clarity, Corey creates a space where people feel seen, heard, and empowered to reconnect with what matters most. Whether the focus is on personal growth, professional development, or something in between, his approach is values-based, practical, and rooted in authenticity.
Coaching is a unique and powerful form of conversation—distinct from therapy, mentoring, or consulting. Corey’s role as a coach is not to offer advice, fix problems, or chart the course, but to ask thoughtful questions, reflect what he hears, and help clients uncover their own truth and direction. The agenda is always set by the client. Coaching provides a forward-focused space to explore values, navigate challenges, and pursue meaningful change. It's particularly useful during times of stress, transition, or uncertainty—when someone may be seeking clarity, alignment, or simply a safe space to think out loud. Clients remain the experts in their own lives and work; Corey simply helps them tap into their inner wisdom, shift perspectives, and move toward action with greater confidence and intention.
